WHY NOT INDIAN POLITICS???

People hate it, but still depend on it. We want to debate everything, but don’t want to get into it. We are people who want a reason to crib. Politics may be good or bad, but we make it seem so bad, so that we get an excuse not to get into it. I am not defending the Politicians or their bad governance; I am against us who want to be audience to a “fixed” cricket match. How can politics be bad? When the whole world is running on it. It’s some people who are bad in it, just like any other profession. We consider doctors as God, don’t they do wrong, aren’t they commercialized, don’t they play with our lives. The factual truth is that as like other professions where education is the main criteria, politics doesn’t have any such criteria, it’s a combination of a lot many things which can’t just come by education , thus the fear of unknown is something which takes away our will do get into it. Indian Politics is good as a profession, as one gets unlimited power, respect and money comes along as a package deal for some not so good politicians. The problem with this profession is losing. The fear of losing in the election and the will to win the upcoming election makes certain politicians corrupt. As they have to keep on wooing their voters for another 5 years so that they conquer their constituency in the next election. And we all know how wooing is done; it requires a lot of money. Thus politicians get corrupt to get money, who doesn’t like money so they get some more for themselves also. Why is that Politicians are arrogant and fearless? The major reason for it as that our whole Indian system is based around them, even being publicly elected representatives they have sole power. Politicians in India are usually above 60 years of age and have started in politics from a very young age, thus being in power from a long time gives them the sense of being a King and hence the arrogance and fearlessness attitude is prevalent in the politician class. Not all of them are like the above; if it would have been the case then I wouldn’t have dared to write this. There are some good ones too and they have to compensate for the bad ones also. I consider it to be one of the toughest professions in the world. It has nothing fixed or it doesn’t work in an assembly line, it is pandemonium, and still work is happening and we are surviving. Hats off to the nice politicians who have slogged there whole life to make our lives comfortable, they have given a lot in their lives to be what they are. The immense amount of patience which they have for being calm for being blamed, abused, insulted, and accused for many things they are not even responsible for. To all the politicians I would like to say yes our memory is short lived, yes we are busy in our own survival, yes we aren’t able to get into politics, but that doesn’t mean we don’t know .....

Are Indian Men Chauvinist???

Indian men are Chauvinist or not? Can be best answered by woman all around the world. But what I perceive is that they are, and those urban Indian guys saying “they aren’t”, are more Chauvinist than guys and also women in rural, not stating that women in urban India aren’t Chauvinist themselves against other women or girls. The biggest support for men all around India for being Chauvinist is the support of other women. Men themselves have a prestige which they think the women doesn’t, and women who actually don’t have such prestige, support the men in their act of Chauvinism, a very usual act of woman in which they can’t see any other woman being better than them. The Indian woman (Urban and Rural), the majority of whom have Chauvinism towards other women are a bigger threat than the men, as they have support of both the men and other chauvinist women. Thus men feel proud about their act of Chauvinism , as they have huge support behind them. The other problem with men for being Chauvinist is there Physical strength. Men around the world have a trait of showing their physical strength; especially in the places where they think they can be easy winners. And where is the best and sure chance of them being the winner? With a Woman. Thus men know even if they lose in front of the women in words, they have an alternative way to win. Not necessary they use their physical strength on them, it’s enough that they know it and also know that the women fear it. Parents and so called Relatives (P & so R) are one of the biggest reasons for an Indian Man to be Chauvinist. (P & so R) to be precise would be of both the Men and Women, especially after marriage and in special cases just before marriage. (P & so R) of men in India have a habit of indirectly educating their male children with their knowledge of cruel acts a woman is capable of doing, forgetting the fact they were themselves born out of them , and the knowledge receiver is also born of a woman –they would call wife. The best is of (P & so R) of the girl’s side who indirectly and in some cases directly educate the female children to know that Chauvinism is one of the special addition to the package they are getting in getting married, so they should accept it in the most humblest way possible. I am very positive towards the change which is happening in our society towards removing Chauvinism, but it would surely take a lot more time.....
